Pre-Production (Shot List week 1)

Today me and Gareth started our shot list for the music video which was going to be filmed in the half term.
We were provided with a template by sir to begin are shot list which proved to be a harder task than expected. We had to divide are song into two section and we both had to work on the half we chose but in are first week Sir allowed us to work on the first section together. The shot list in total is meant to sum up to 100 minimum. In our first lesson working on the shot list we worked well but we stumbled on some section especially in the actors section because we had just found out that our main star was not going to be available during the half term which is the period were we would do most of our filming. In the shot list we tried to  make it as detailed as possible in our first attempt because Sir gave us about why it should be detailed. The shot list should be detailed so that anybody who is given the list can develop an idea of what is going on in the video without watching. In our first lesson we managed to get the first 3 shots out of 50 which were developed well. All the reason why i chose Gareth came into affect in that lesson as he had great ideas to contribute towards the video which allowed the shots that we described  to be in detail.

Writing out shot list and planning our music video.
